Ingrédients

45 ml (3 c. à soupe) consommé de boeuf30 ml (2 c. à soupe) vin blanc15 ml (1 c. à soupe) huile d’olive1 gousse d’ail, hachée finement2 chacun oignons rouges et oignons Vidalia coupes en rondelles125 ml (1/2 tasse) gruyère râpé60 ml (1/4 tasse) ciboulette hachée finement

Préparation

  1. Faire tremper 4 brochettes de bois dans l’eau pendant 1 heure. Préchauffer le barbecue à intensité moyenne. Dans un bol, mélanger le consommé de boeuf, le vin, l’huile et l’ail. Réserver.

  2. Sur un plan de travail, déposer à plat plusieurs rondelles d'oignons de couleurs différentes et les enfiler sur les brochettes en les piquant au centre, dans le sens de l'épaisseur. Badigeonner généreusement du mélange de consommé les deux côtés des tranches d'oignons.

  3. Déposer les brochettes d'oignons sur la grille inférieure préalablement huilée du barbecue. Cuire 5 minutes par côté ou jusqu'à ce que les oignons soient cuits et légèrement brunis. Éteindre le barbecue. Déposer les brochettes sur la grille supérieure du barbecue.

  4. Répartir le gruyère et la ciboulette sur les brochettes d'oignons et laisser reposer, à couvert, pendant 5 minutes ou jusqu'à ce que le fromage soit fondu. Servir avec du poisson, du poulet ou de la viande grillée.



Variante : Remplacer le vin blanc par du vin rouge et la ciboulette par du thym frais. Utiliser d’autres variétés d’oignons comme les oignons jaunes, blancs ou espagnols.
